Rammstein: This Is Not a Drill!

What are the odds that we’ll actually get Tool’s first new album in 13 years and Rammstein’s first new album in 10 years both in the same year?! We’re still waiting on anything official from Team Tool, but things are moving along swimmingly for zee Germans. Till Lindemann and Co. will reportedly drop five music videos in support of their new record, which is allegedly due this spring, and Numero Uno looks to be upon us. Rammstein just offered up what appears to be a teaser for a new music video: 30 seconds of grim, gray footage showing Lindemann, keyboardist Flake, guitarist Paul Landers and drummer Christoph Schneider all standing at the gallows with nooses around their necks. Will this be the end for our heroes? Guitarist Richard Kruspe has said that he wouldn’t be shocked if this proved to be Rammstein’s final album. Personally, I’ll worry about that later — just give me new music, bitte!
